      I'm much more a fan of the version where someone accuses Lincoln/FDR/Obama of being Literally Hitler and then turning around and commenting that "you know, Hitler wasn't so bad."

      You see it a decent amount in the crazier right-wing segments of the internet.

      Gah. I live in Tennessee and Stacey Campfield is a constant embarrassment. He trolls for media attention by saying inflammatory things and coming up with crackpot legislation like the infamous "Don't Say Gay" bill. On the other hand, he DOES have a Democratic opponent. Her name is Cheri Siler. Check her out. I would SO love for Campfield's outrageous comments to finally have some real (as in electoral) consequences for a change.
