He apparently uploaded the video from his hospital bed.

People should be very careful about posting anything while on painkillers.

Thank God for teenagers and social media. Also thank God for the ABC news crawl blocking the footage of the crashes.

Yeah, it really sucks, but it's the only copy I could find that's still up.

No way. A True Floridian would've crashed into another car, jumped out of the flaming wreckage, cannibalized the victims, then injected pounds of meth leaving the needles embedded in his skin making him look like a Christmas tree of stimulant abuse. All while wearing nothing but an American flag tattoo.

According to his Facebook profile, Kelley is a self-described "brony."

According to the website whatisabrony.com, a brony is a fan of the animated series — based on Hasbro's My Little Pony toys — "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic." Bronies are "outside the target demographic of little girls," according to the website.

yeah. I've backed into my sister's car a few times (because she can't drive or park for shit and I've got my muscle memory) and I do NOT advertise that shit at all. There's no visible damage and I STILL have never told her about any of it almost a decade later. Use your fucking brain.

Apparently, there's plenty of idiocy to go around in this story — not just on the part of this kid who uploaded the video, but the police as well. After crashing his car twice, injuring three other people in the process, the kid was airlifted to a hospital after the second crath — but the police just let the kid leave the hospital the next day without arresting him, and then lost all track of him. Their explanation for not initially arresting him was that they assumed he was more seriously injured and would be hanging around the hospital for a few days, so they planned to go down to the hospital and arrest him at some later date.

From what I gather, if the kid hadn't uploaded this video, they wouldn't been able to locate and arrest him at all.

I don't understand it. 18-year old boys are usually so rational.

My neighborhood is still reeling from the deaths of two high school seniors (and critical condition of a third) who were killed Friday morning when the driver lost control on a curve and plowed into a Live Oak, splitting her Accord in half. Two close friends live across the street from the accident and saw everything. A neighbor's surveillance camera showed the car about five seconds before the crash and it looked as though they were going "between 80-100 MPH" (her estimate). I share this because I saw the aftermath as I was driving home and was sick about it for the rest of the weekend. Two kids-about to graduate-are now dead and more likely than not, it was due to reckless driving. I was an idiot when I was a teenager and feel lucky that I am here to tell stories but you really only get one chance to make a fatal error and I wish there was a way to really teach this to young drivers.

I know the wreck you're talking about, and I recently briefly met the driver's grandmother who lives in my neighborhood. Very sweet lady, I'm really heartbroken for her.
