    Jesus Christ does this make me fucking sick. My mom is lily white and came from a tiny town in Europe. She married a dude who looks like the Redskins logo (my dad) in the early 70's, and my dad was shocked when her parents were cool with it. I never understood that until recently. I guess if my mom were from the South she would have been treated differently.

      I imagine bringing an actual brown person home in the South would be a lot different.. lol But I don't think my grandparents had ever even met a brown person before my dad. They never saw Chinese people until the 90's when some came to work in their town (tiny mountain town in the mountains in Spain).

    LISTEN... If pure Aryans want to rant about purity then let them have at it. I don't agree with it but at this point its par for the course, but when minorities that include Jews do this its despicable. In this case Donald Sterling is in fact Jewish so why the fuck is he hating? Did he forget the holocaust? NOPE there's no way he forgot the holocaust, not because no one should forget the holocaust , but because Jews won't let anyone forget the holocaust. If we are really going to get into superiority then lets have an honest look. The Nazis tried this and well while there were some spectacular Germans of pure blood there are also many example of Africans of pure blood that have similar attributes just different skin color. In other words one could make the argument that the only pure blood races out there are in fact the Africans and the Aryans everyone else is a mixture. In that sense the Jew is actually less pure than the African and the Nazis had a point.

    Do I believe any of this? The answer is no but an argument can be made and this guy should be made to see that. I have posted before about meeting, knowing and witnessing first hand many Jews who are prejudiced against blacks and it blows me away. Where did they get the balls?

      I should be a little more clear. I have many Jewish friends and they all look down on blacks. I have come to see that this seems to be common for lots of American Jews.

    This also has interesting parallels to Judaism's worries about assimilation. While the fear has traditionally been of goy women, there's also a big trend of worrying about Christian men pressuring women to convert or raise the kids Christian. Just look at Tevye's rage and sense of betrayal in Fiddler on the Roof when his daughter starts dating asheigetz.

      It is most certainly an american obsession but it's contours had long been cultivated. While I can't go back any further (my own lack of knowledge) we only need to look to mediaeval and early modern spain's invocation of Limpieza de sangre (cleanliness of blood) and the need to protect agains't malo sangre (bad blood) as an early proxy (born in religion) for prohibitions agains't "race mixing."

      Also interesting since I just remembered that Sterling is Jewish.

      Yeah, this goes beyond America. In Italy there is a racist but common saying: Africa starts South of Rome. The fascist right wing groups in Northern Italy don't consider Southern Italians to be white.

      This is a great article, and I agree with the overall thrust of it, but the story about the woman in the OKCupid example undermines the point almost as much as it reinforces it. Those idiot guys weren't the first ones to bring up "race" — she was.

      Their messages to her were straight-up ignorant to be sure, but why the fuck would she even put something like that on her profile in the first place? It makes zero sense, except for someone trying to make some kind of statement or generate a response. Which she did.

      After all, how hard is it to just trash-can all the responses you get from people you're not interested in, regardless of the reason you're not interested in them?

      It's the melanin-level equivalent of advertising "Hey — no fat chicks!". And then acting surprised and indignant when 300 fat people write you to tell you that you're discriminating against them. When all you had to do was ignore messages from fat people, white people, black people, asians, short people, or whatever other sort of phenotypical trait you decide to be close-minded about.

        Also, great piece and so right. As someone who's of the darker persuasion but lived around primarily white people, I've found these very views of purity come out pretty unexpectedly from friends that I didn't really think cared about that kind of stuff.

        It's especially true with the Italians I know. They really really don't like it if a girl they know has gotten with black men.

              He doesn't love her or plan to make a life with her. He does want to fuck her and have her as arm candy for a bit to feed his ego. His ego is fed by his inner racist nature which has managed to quiet the cognitive dissonance of dating a biracial woman. No, it doesn't make sense. But somehow he has convinced himself that her blackness is okay as long as she doesn't flaunt it.
