I wonder if you realize you are wrong about me being wrong about "Kief". Let me tell you a story about a pot enthusiast who had a child and decided to name him after Kief.....You might have heard about a show called "24'.

    In The Company of Men:

"Is your name 'Keef' or 'Keith?" Which? - Keith. Well, you ought to know.

"Let me give you a professional tip: the word is 'ask,' not 'axe.'"

Maybe he spells it that way because it's a reference to Kief, the crystals that fall off weed and can be collected and pressed into a type of kief hash. But thanks for your enlightening grammar study.

I opened this wondering, "Who in the hell is Chief Keef?" After reading it I realized that I don't really care and was fine not knowing.

I believe that is definition numero uno in the OED under hipster.

I don't care what anyone says, Chief Keef is an amazingly good rap name, particularly if it was meant to refer to actual Keef.

I am just glad he didn't choose my own rapper sobriquet: Chief Queef.

"We all knew that something bad was going to happen at that house,"

Well he seemed to be getting along with everyone pretty well not too long ago.

His album is titled, "Finally Rich"...I'm thinking that his next album could be called, "Predictably Broke..."

I hope this would make Northfield folks give a shit about the violence and gangs in the South Side but I'm cynically guessing they'll run the property owner through a wood chipper and put together some racist-tinged community regulations.
