      They're Lorde fans.

      Their banner is showing the WBC what Christians/non-assholes are supposed to do when someone dies: feel empathy and give support instead of preaching hate.

    This reminds me of a great bit by Bill Hicks in which couple of redneck Christians meet him after the show to voice their displeasure with his attacks on God and Christianity and how they are mightily offended and might actually beat him for that.

    Bill comes back with: "How about you forgive me?"

        I know context clues are difficult, but "Lorde", "concert", and "her fans" make it almost foolproof to determine what/who Lorde is.

        Or you could peruse the internet every now and then.

        However, my guess is somebody wanted to gain some hipster points by not recognizing mainstream music.

      I am going to guess that WBC objects to Lorde calling herself "lord." Or whatever. The point it, the very best name for a new band, preferably either screamcore or old school punk, would be "Fred Phelps."
