      I know, right? NO ONE locks their car doors??!? That is done within 10 seconds of getting in the car for me —but then I have an irrational fear of falling out of my car if I hit a right turn.

      I blame my mother, who drilled into me that an unlocked car door meant a jacked purse at a red light. This has never actually happened to her or anyone I know, but IT COULD. Clearly it could.

      Well if she def prob didn't know what was really going on the minutes before she drove down that high way so maybe she was caught off guard....otherwise if I were her and had saw what happened and was coming my way I would have reversed into the van or rip my keys out before he could get me out.

      I was actually wondering...by law would you be charged with manslaughter or vehicular attempt of murder (IDK any actual terms) if you as a civilian got involved in apprehending or taking down and badly hurt a carjacker/chase like him??
