Other straight white males continue to insist he is the exception and that in every other case they are being hypersensitive, imagining things and looking for prejudice where it doesn't exist. They're going to need, like, 80 more judges to be outed this way to even consider a structural or cultural problem.

fuck every single one of you making fun of his face. he likely had a cleft palate, which has nothing to do with anything other than a shitty genetic lottery. he may be an odious sack of shit, but using that as an excuse to make fun of a BIRTH DEFECT is awful.

you all should be ashamed of yourselves.

"These comments are not a reflection of who I am."

Right. Because if it's one thing anonymous internet posters like to hide, it's their true feelings.

Aristotle understood one could never completely divorce ethics from Aesthetics. Or, it appears, intelligence given his affinity for rambling bile and 5th-grade level tautology. If "sluts are just whores in training" then, it would seem, he's a dumbshit who's just an idiot in training.

Ugh. Gross John. Really fucking gross.

That's an ugly and dangerous idea, to link physical attractiveness with goodness and intelligence, and subjective unattractiveness to genetic inferiority. Please don't send me any links with "scientific proof" for these principles of eugenics, as I am already pretty nauseated from all the people here ridiculing those with cleft palates rather than those who are unethical judges. Gonna go puke now, I hate humans.

I wonder if those judges are appointed or elected? Also, can he be taken off the bench for this? Would this be considered a breach of ethics or considered an act that calls his impartiality into question?

I feel like it should? If the judge of a divorce case has said women are crazy and need to overlook infidelity a little bit more in a marriage, any ruling he makes in favor of the dude would be called into question.

You'd hope that any attorney that has a case before him in future will object on the grounds of his personal prejudices.

My first newspaper job was in Faulkner County where this slapdick was a circuit judge, and he's every bit as wretched as he seems in these posts. Basically a collections lawyer who bought an appointment to the bench from Mike Huckabee, then orchestrated a pact among the four judges that had each of them file for re-election in a district other than the one they were in (judges appointed to the bench are not allowed to run for re-election). Full disclosure: My father ran against him in 2008, but I disliked him long before that, and I'm high as fuck on schadenfreude right now.
