    Did you know that there are Jews who believe in Jesus? I met this author a few years back who has a Jewish name and looks like a Jew who started to talk to me about Jesus. I thought he was being sarcastic and started to laugh, and he gives me a frown and says something like "salvation is no laughing matter"...

    As we/you Americans say "that escalated quickly"

    ETA - If people think I am stupid for not knowing, well outside the US those people call themselves Christians and usually would be mortified if someone thought they were Jews.

      "...looks like a Jew..." is a phrase you should avoid if you don't want to sound like an idiot/asshole. "...has semitic features..." is not superb, but it's a lot better than "looks like a Jew."

    Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems that the logic is: I follow the Old Testament commandments (and completely ignore the New Testament hippy Jesus stuff), so therefore, I am MORE Jewish than the Jews and I can call them all sell outs. If this is what she is saying, it is an interesting glimpse into the mind of crazy far right extremists.
