My husband is still afraid of getting caught for totally trashing a golf cart, he and 6 friends drove it top speed off a hill and into a pond.

It's sad to think that any of these pranks today would probably get you charged as an adult and tossed in to prison with the rapists and murderers.

Ugh, Ken, your especially good pieces always give me a case of the "I should have gone to j school, or at least stayed in film school, oh well, I'll just polish off that fifth of $8.88 Gordon's and navel gaze till the cows (and my girlfriend) come home.

Awesome, awesome personal obit, or whatever you'd call it.

I managed to avoid j-school, film school and even state college, but this is not a recommended path for anyone, especially not in 2014 when part-time hostesses down at the Coco's are expected to have a bachelor's degree.

Stripes came out in 81' when I was 4. I was allowed to watch it although probably a few years later on VHS. Anyway the beauty of Ramis’ movies is that they are brilliant whether you’re a kid or an adult. Stripes was one of my favorite movies then and it still is now. Also my first look at boobs in a movie...

My husband can not dance. He is an enthusiastic non-dancer. He has a weird, jerky style, where he keeps his arms pinned to his sides, feet firmly planted in place and then he twists and bobs, two times on each side. Sometimes he will snap his fingers. I asked him once about who "taught him how to dance" and he very sincerely answered "I always loved the way that little gopher danced on Caddyshack, so I just do that." Thank you, Harold Ramis.

Bill Murray, in his official statement, gave the list of projects they worked on, then said "He earned his keep on this planet" in response to Ramis's death? What went wrong with them, really? I love Bill Murray, but also, fuck you and get over yourself, Bill Murray.

Oh c'mon, that's a sarcastic Bill Murray intentionally underplaying things in an ironic fashion. He's making a joke, he's a funny guy.

If it were funny, I'd consider that a possibility. They had a falling out after Groundhog Day and hadn't spoken in more than 10 years. I hope the story of why that happened comes out, eventually.

I do like the Dance Wax prank. Besides, you mad your mom laugh, and that's always good.

While many girls grew up wanting to marry JTT or Joshua Jackson or whomever, I envisioned a life with this man. Sounds creepy but I'm an old soul. Or I just have major issues because my dad is not funny. Either way, I will miss Harold Ramis and treasure all of the joy he has and will continue to give to me.

In the late 70s, when I was around 11, I was in love with him, too. He was on SCTV (the syndicated one, not the NBC one). So either we are old souls together or we were just kids with exceptionally good taste.

We were lucky to have grown up when we did. The 8o's and 90's were good times. Good times, I tell ya.

Harold Ramis is a genius. He will always be one of my favorites.

Harold Ramis created/co-wrote the most infinitely watchable comfort food films of all time. He was the 'big toe' of a comedy golden age. My childhood thanks you, good sir. Genuine :(
