      I only write notes to myself in my first language. I'm always paranoid about making embarrassing mistakes, which would be exponentially increased if I were writing a "Dear Diary, I like a boy" note. Does Murdoch speak her first language? This seems a bit risky/suspect to me.

        Yeah, you know, it's not even slut-shaming. As I grow older, I find that when this happens, and the related case of "How did she stay married to THAT asshole so long?! SHE is soooo nice!" the truth is really that assholes almost always attract like, particularly when there is a pattern or the relationship lasts years. Some people just hide their jagoff ways better than others.
