        Whats the point of having a grand jury if a second grand jury can be called if you just don't like the conclusions the first one came to?

          According to the linked article, for some reason they took the vote of the first grand jury when all of its members weren't present so I guess they were able to declare their decision invalid and form a new one.

          Its not double jeopardy until a petit jury finds him innocent. I think most other countries have gotten rid of grand juries. I think we keep them solely because of the fifth amendment.
