      I am with you 100%. My biggest fear isn't drowning, it's being left in the sea, treading water. I think I would die of a panic attack, even IF something didn't end up brushing its tentacley, sticky arm across my calf.

      i went out with my two boys and exwife, being hauled by a guy on a jet skit once. The moron took us way way way out to sea, i couldnt see the shore and dumps us all over, it was a true nightmare!

      I'd imagine so. The coelocanth was discovered pretty recently (earthwise).

      Ive read a story a while ago navy sub runs into something that left a weird gash on it sonar and they found hooks from a deep sea squid that were bigger than any know.

      The seas are just so big and undiscovered it would be much more likely for some unknown something to be out there.
