Conan is at his best doing stuff like this. I actually feel like he's stifled sitting behind a desk doing the regular tired interview thing. The video game segments are great too.

Agreed- he's a Chicago improv guy at heart.

His remotes have always been the best part of his show. Too bad all the Late Night and Tonight Show ones he posted a few months ago for his 20 Year Anniversary have now returned to the darkness of the NBC vault. Whenever he prods Jordan Schlansky as well.. pure gold.

Oddly, he reminded me of him as well.

I think it's more likely he's a hardcore fan of the show and thinks that this is the correct way to respond to Conan if you want to be on camera more.

This is the funniest I've ever seen him. I mean: I've never found his show funny, but this actually is funny.

Fuck this. The "big boss acting cool by hanging out with the low-runged individuals in a very public way" thing is over. There should be nothing noteworthy about associating with people in different strata of society and just because Conan is funny sometimes and appeals to a very liberal audience, that doesn't change the fact that on the surface, this is super exploitative of the division of labor in America. </hamno-rant> #nofacetio

Nice to finally put a face to Sona's voice from all Aaron's podcasts.

Ummm. Boom operators have no idea how the shot is being framed with shoots like this. It is up to the camera man to keep the boom out of the shot.

Hah, you're so mis-informed it's comical. A good boom op works closely with the camera man, and the dp, and has a good awareness of the shot. There's nothing complicated about the camera movement here, and the first (of many) the boom is clearly seen dipping into what is basically a static shot. Any boom op who tries to blame it on the camera guy will find himself out of a job very quickly.
