Hey team — this is my last post for Gawker. Writing for the site for the past year has pretty much been like winning the lottery, so I felt the photo was fitting. Its been fun. Stay smart.

If I was the woman all the way to the left with the champana, this would be my profile picture for everything for life.

    Great picture.

I dunno. Once Facebook crops it to their dimensional standards, it's gonna look like she's getting a facial from a guy who hasn't jerked off in months.

Wait, why did these folks even enter the lottery? We all know it's impossible to win. Is there no El HamNo to tell them that?

The odds of winning an important lottery in Spain are surely greater than in the U.S., the population is of course significantly less, and someone (sometimes an entire village) always wins in the case of the major Christmas loterías.

Let's play Valley Girl Mataro. Original comment is posted beneath my approximation.

Like, did you know that there are less people who live in Spain than in the US? Having, like, fewer entries into a drawing makes it more likely that one particular entry will be drawn. Sometimes groups of people will buy tickets together, because having many chances instead of one chance means you have a bigger chance of winning! Now I'm going to, like, say something in another language so you think I'm a genius. But it's going to be a cognate, nothing that actually suggests I have knowledge of the language.
