So it's perfectly OK for innocent civilians to be murdered because they are in the vicinity of an Al Qaeda operative? OK then, glad we cleared that up.

It's also okay if they are related to Al Quaeda operatives, live near them, or kind of look like them.

Remember, these people are just sand niggers so we don't have to give a fuck about them.

    - United States of America (as spoken by our actions)

Hey, but didn't Barack give a great speech at Mandela's memorial about reconciliation, oppression and justice and all that shit? We just killed more people than Americans killed by terrorists this decade.

Are you more offended by my usage of the phrase "sand nigger" than us vaporizing 15 people because they were Arabs (if they were Christian Europeans, they'd be alive)?

This is part of Obama's strategy to minimize risk for our own soldiers, so who am I to attack it without appreciating the net benefit? I'd say his engagement in the Middle East was much, much better handled than by Bush at least.

What a fucking cowardly statement. "Better than Bush?" Is this our new standard in America? Obama didn't start any ground wars while he killed Middle Eastern civilians indiscriminately? What a great achievement. Now we can kill innocents abroad all we want without any Americans paying the cost. The complete moral cowardliness of those who walk the Democratic Party line disgusts me. We were rightfully up in arms when Bush was invading the Middle East. I know it feels good to think that Obama is a good guy because he's the team leader and we want the Democrats to succeed. He's not. Care about the Democratic Party to the extent that it can do good things, don't care about good things to the extent that they can help the Democratic Party.

You do realize Obama said he was going to increase drone strikes as an alternative to troop deployments all throughout the 2008 campaign. Some of us expected him to use more drone strikes, that was part of the reason we voted for him.

You know what's a shitty strategy on fighting scary Muslim terrorism? Indiscriminately murdering civilians in Middle Eastern countries. That tends to, you know, make people hate us.

Obviously you're wrong and they hate us because they're jealous of our freedoms, like Fox News kept saying that back when Bush2 was in office (you know, before a black man was in charge and they had to start pretending to oppose the wars).

We can at least say this much for Amazon's drone delivery program: it won't mistakenly murder a dozen civilians.

I thought it was adjusted upwards to 15 people? Either way, this is absurd. More Yemeni civilians were killed in this single US drone strike than the number of American civilians who have died due to terrorism in 10 years. The United States of America is a terrorist state.

I get that Americans don't give a shit about Muslim lives. Well, I don't get it, but it's the reality. What I don't get is why they don't care that this does nothing to help us. All that is being done is creating a new generation of people who have good reason to hate our country. If we're not going to be compassionate enough not to rain murder from the sky upon the Middle East, can't we at least be smart enough to realize that it is not even in our self-interest to do so? Will ranting on Gawker make me feel better? The answer to both questions is no.

Of course, people actually interviewing residents in the area find that nobody wants the US to actually stop fight Al Quaeda or the Taliban, but rather have a 100% accuracy rate against a group that routinely disguises itself as civilians. It seems that Gawker is rather similar.
