      Getting to make and discuss your own lists makes interactive a cultural practice that is generally passive. It strikes me as a brilliant idea.

      True, I guess a part of me sees the appeal. I wasn't really joking about the drunk thing. May just be that I have trouble imagining a lively enough debate via this particular medium. Sounds like it'd be a lot of fun in a group setting, though.

      I refuse to use an app that requires me to sign in to my Facebook account. If I'm using an app to find the nearest hooker, the last thing I want is my family/friends/girlfriend finding out...

            Congrats on giving away even more of your being to Zuckerberg. Have fun, he'll be making money! Selling this to advertisers, along with the names, ages and Proust rated thoughts of your friends and family. Rank that!

              It would appeal to me more if it wasn't associated to Facebook in any way. Or if I felt confident enough that it wouldn't suddenly somehow be shared with everyone I know and their parents. Which is exactly why I almost never post or like comments on any websites anymore.

              This. I have zero desire to play a game that requires access to my Facebook account. And Rich said "I received my invite," which implies, at the very least, that the game allows people to invite their friends to play through means other than oral communication.
