    Male Perspective: WTF is up with my brothers and their desire for virgins? Seriously, I do not understand. Are you that insecure that you simply cannot stomach the idea of your lover comparing you to someone else? I just... honestly... I don't get it. And I'm an old! I remember when meeting an 18 or 19 year old virgin wasn't a novelty. I just cannot fathom the appeal. In all honesty, back in those teenage days, I had more than a few opportunities to be someone's first. I noped the fuck out of there every time. I had zero interest in it then, and I have even less now.

      I disagree completely. My opinion had nothing to do with them as a person. How on earth you manage to make that leap is beyond my reasoning. In all honesty, I didn't want to be anyone's first because, at the time, I had all kinds of self-esteem issues and had no desire to be meaningful in any way to someone. Over the years I learned to stop hating myself quit as much, but I also learned that I really enjoy sex. And that I enjoy sex a whole lot more with a partner who has a lot of experience and knows what she is doing. It's not insulting to someone to say "You've never done this before and I prefer being with someone who has experience". It doesn't reflect on them as a person. It reflects on their experience in one tiny area that, at the end of the day, has absolute nothing to do with their worth as a human being. And it certainly wasn't insulting to the girls I knew a million years ago to say "You can do a whole lot better than me when it comes to choosing someone you will remember for the rest of your life". Honestly, the whole idea of you trying to claim insult on behalf of others for that is ridiculous. All of the girls I knew back then, with whom I had that opportunity, knew exactly why I declined. And every young girl / virgin who reads my comment now, well, I'm really about as close to 100% convinced as humanly possible that they don't give two shits if I would have sex with them or not. It wasn't personal, it was a statement of a preference. Here's another one, I would also never want to have sex with someone who spends her time insult trolling. Are you offended by that?
