Geez, can we just legalize pot so we don't have to feel conflicted about crackdowns like this?

Yes, because legalizing pot definitely fixes the whole "buying links to kiddie porn" and "selling credit card and personal information" issues.

      I think you've misunderstand me.

All of the people getting busted here are doing things with which I disagree (stolen CC numbers, kiddie porn, etc.), except for the marijuana users/dealers. If pot was legal, then I wouldn't be conflicted about seeing sites like Black Market Reloaded being taken down.

According to Newsnight, these users had unwisely registered for Black Market Reloaded using emails they'd also used on social media sites

Call me fussy, but if I'm going to sell a million dollars of weed online, I am going to take that extra 45 seconds to set up a clean email account.

It's like if Walter White had decided his drug making name was "Walter White." It would've been a much shorter show.

I wish it was possible to have an online underground in which to do fun, illegal stuff without slimy fucks inevitably using it for kiddy porn.

    I'm looking at you, Newzbin.

In all seriousness, do you really think the Feds give a fuck about the guy who buys a half ounce of weed every month off of BMR?

Yeah, probably. Maybe not every one, but enough of them to try and "scare" the others.

No, but selling a $1 million in weed and child porn links have a cause for concern.

If only you could just ask anybody you trust under the age of 25 (and half the people over) and they could hook you up with some bud...

People are defending a platform that makes the sharing of child porn easy and anonymous. Some of us have really lost our moral center. It's really sad and makes those religious freaks seem right when they say we've become uncaring, strictly self-serving relativist assholes.

Just goes to show you, kids:

If you have sins, and we ALL do, keep it off the fucking Interwebs.

Considering the "data breach" benefited the BBC News, I wouldn't be surprised if THEY did it.
