    I'd like the Ford supporters to see the video. Not only for the crack smoking, but the racist and homophobic remarks he makes on it. I'm sure they'd be fine with the gay slurs, but hopefully some of them would be appalled at the racism. Or maybe not. It's a disheartening day.

      I think they'd be more dismayed by the fact that in the video he basically cops to being less right-wing than "They" (Presumably his Brother/Family/Voters) want him to be. It's actually kinda sad. Based on accounts of the video, he's just a sad old drunk being manipulated by other people.

      I seem to recall that (a) the gay slurs were directed mostly at Justin Trudeau; and (b) the racist remarks focussed almost exclusively on members of the high school football team he was coaching. Yet, while both scenarios are horrifying to contemplate, something tells me the Trudeau angle would grab more headlines, at least initially.

      If you look at those emails, it appears that comm. director did this without the "big guy's" knowledge. I think Rob Ford has a core team of true believers in his political causes that basically rescue him from one disaster after another; and this one simply got away from them.

      So were his drug dealer contacts the ones that killed that guy associated with the video? Why would someone film a corrupt, and thus dangerous, city boss using underworld product in the first place? Are drugs and drug abusing mayor-videos considered a better investment than Canadian and American fiat currency?
