    I have a lot of mixed feelings about seeing the Confederate flag on anyone, but Mr. West is obviously aware of the history, so it's none of my business.

    That being said, I'd be really interested to see/hear the reactions of the proud Southern boys who still wear it as part of their heritage. More appealing? Less appealing? No impact?

      Why would Southern racists be seething over some ass-backwards clown who thinks that he can reappropriate the Confederate flag? If anything, I'd think they'd be laughing at him and any unsuspecting black youths running around in his "Yeezus" garb, thinking that wearing symbols of their own oppression is cute.

      What I find rather irritating is that many of the racists have realized that the Confederate flag immediately outs them as a racist.

      But instead of, you know, stopping being so racist, they just appropriated another flag. The yellow "Don't Tread On Me" flag, once a symbol from the revolutionary war, has become a go-to choice for tea partiers. Some are even convinced that it's also a confederate flag (hint: it's not).
