    "Learn the truth"

Because kids in the LRA are unaware that they are being forced into a horrible situation.

No one actually can categorize anything as technically 'bad' or 'wrong' until Americans get upset about it from watching slow motion YouTube videos set to sad music. That is actually in the Geneva Convention.

Of course they're aware; they're just often unaware that they can escape and be reintegrated into their communities after being forced to murder . Learn more here about a man's escape from the LRA here instead of just assuming you're more knowledgeable about how soldiers in the LRA think than a nonprofit that's been working on the issue for over a decade: http://www.foxnews.com/world/2013/10/…

This has to be a joke, right? We're getting trolled by somebody who hacked them or something.

Doubtful. Although I think they are pretty fucking terrible, good intentions and all aside.

I'm going to raise money to start a charity that will protect people in Africa from charities like Invisible Children.

Seriously. These things often do more harm than good. Take LiveAid, which decimated parts of Africa when the UN took that money raised and gave it to the governments of the countries in need of help. What did these fascist, dictator-controlled governments do? Buy guns, of course.

That 'chart' looks like something that would be used in a 'Saturday Night Live' skit to make of bullshit like this. Except this chart is a lot funnier than an SNL skit.

No, please. More about how Africans are incapable of knowing what's best for themselves.

I still have no idea what to make of this video of theirs. (The lyrics start at 3:19.)

I just... really have no idea what this is about. Are they trying to be funny? Is their organization just one big ironic hipster joke about charitable organizations? I'm at a loss.

Me: please be the musical please be the musical please be the musical... YES.

This is quite possibly the best thing about KONY 2012. I think my favorite part is where they mansplain dancing to the ladies in a scene that is totally relevant to their cause.
