    1. Susan Miller's website is ALWAYS down the first of the month, because she is ALWAYS late posting her monthly horoscopes. That's why she got rid of her messageboard: because she's an excuse monkey and always had an elaborate lie about why they were late, and eventually a lot of her loyalists got out the pitchforks (I was not one of these people, never really been a Miller fan).

    2. Plenty of other astrologers, including Jonathan Cainer and Penny Thornton "predicted" the shutdown as ably as Miller did — and they're not even Americans!

    3. Susan Miller gets discussed more than any other astrologer because she's a fameho. Please stop perpetuating her delusions of grandeur and terrible astrology. She barely knows what a horary chart is!

The fact that there is a difference between "good" vs "bad" astrology amuses me greatly.

I don't think she's a fameho. Shes an older slightly disabled woman who is able to get people to pay her to talk. I've seen her speak and she talks about how she has to do all this press/pub stuff because running her website and app are so expensive she has to keep up with it all. It's kind of sad in person.

Ummmm.... I knew about it too. From reading the paper. And following world events. And LIVING IN THE WORLD.

    I'm an astrological genius!

It is the equivalent of predicting WWII in 1938.

Hell, the denizens of Yahoo! News could have told you this, and I don't even know what they are.

I keep thinking I'll find something that will resonate but it never does. Then I think I should read my rising and moon and then my progressed signs and then I'm a hot mess. Seriously, she's vastly overrated and I never get anything tangible from her scopes - nothing happens on her magic dates.

I really want one of these soothsayers to prove their chops and bet on the market. If they can beat the S&P with significant results, then I'll be impressed. Until then, broken clock twice a day and all that.

But seriously, if someone could actually straighten out the small caps in my portfolio that'd be great.

Guys I just want to acknowledge that I was already aware of this confluence of events and it is really bumming me out. I can't even really decide how sarcastically I mean this. But thanks for covering this. I'll just be PMSing at my desk crying about the WIC babies and refreshing AstrologyZone.com (thanks for the warning last month that Libras should all expect the shittiest birthday ever, S.M.) At least Jezebel's with me.
