I fucking hate grown women who are obsessed with Disney. I have a Facebook friend who just graduated from college and got an unpaid internship at Disney World working in ticketing. All she ever posts is shit about Disney World - pictures of her first "mickey bar," pictures of her with various people in costumes, pictures of her in front of the castle, stupid Disney memes. Now she's applying for ANOTHER unpaid internship at Disney Land, and she's so freaking excited. Jesus, lady, you're a grown-ass woman with a college degree. Act like it.

I have a grown-ass man friend obsessed with Disney. He goes to the park every weekend because he lives like 20 minutes away. One of the chicks who plays Tinkerbell knows him on a first name basis and he never fails to get a picture with her. Every weekend. Maybe he's stalking her.

I see your "grown ass women obsessed with Disney" and I raise you a "grown ass women obsessed with 'all things cute' that act like 14 year olds". The fuck is that shit? If you venture into tumblr you'll see thirty somethings posting "cute selfies" asking if their outfits are "cute", talking as if they still were living in a Strawberry Shortcake world. I cannot stand that fucking infantilization.

      Agreed.

These particular people need to be rounded up and euthanized.

I see nothing wrong here. I walk around NYC every day brimming with hate.

"Motherfuckers who clip their nails on the subway"

"Chicks who do their makeup on the subway"

"Idiots who walk to the top of stairs or out doors and then just fucking stop"

    "Anyone in Affliction anything"

"the dickheads I purposely walk into because they're not paying attention to where they're walking but staring at their goddamned phones."

I could keep going for...well, forever.

Ah yeah, I hate to admit this, but my latest thing is ALMOST hitting people with my citibike who are crossing against the light, or not looking when the enter the bike lane. The second I park the bike I'm one of them. I do like that people are starting to apologize for getting in your way.

What's wrong with women who do their makeup on the subway? It doesn't smell, it is not unhygenic, am I missing something? Some of us have long commutes and prefer to maximize morning hours...

I think you forgot "women who wear Coach purses". I don't think I've ever seen such vitriolic hate for any brand such as the UrbanBaby crowd for Coach.

I think despising the people immediately below you on the class ladder is pretty much universal human nature. Coach is de rigeur among the wives of men who work as financing managers at dealerships that sell cars the Urban Baby crowd wouldn't be caught dead in, spinsters with mid-level HR jobs and your tacky sister-in-law back in Wisconsin who keeps trying to connect with you on your LinkedIn ("you're a dental hygienist, Carla. As if.")

The first time I came across UrbanBaby it was through, of all things, a discussion thread about Coach. I had never heard of the brand before (I live in Europe and it isn't as pervasive here in Germany) so I googled and followed several links, one of which was this discussion. My jaw dropped when I read that, apparently, the only "proper" way to buy a Coach bag was as a present for "a maid". Since then, I have semi regularly checked the site (like maybe 4 or 5 times a year) to see what other delusional ideas that crowd is spouting. You are right, their classism is amazing.

I just thought about this and am wondering:

Why do people hate old people? Old people are just "people" who were born before you, why would you hate them? If you don't die first, someday you'll be old.

I don't like every old person, that's for sure. But I don't get hating them globally, either.

If you "hate old people" — I'm curious why you hate them.

I think most people on this planet desperately hope to achieve an age their snot nosed, shit-for-brains early 20's self would call "old".

What non-racial group are you prejudiced against?

Correct answer: People who read and comment on UrbanBaby.com.

Obviously this list is ridiculous, but I especially can't understand hating someone who pays in cash. It doesn't mean they don't have a debit card. Maybe they don't want to see a million items on their bank statement.

Seriously. I do not understand this one. I mean if you are going to hate the way someone is paying, a checkbook is the way to go. When I see someone whip out a checkbook in the grocery store I just don't get it. I give them a pass if they are old though.

A real Caesar dressing would contain raw egg, which would be a major no-no during pregnancy I guess. However, real Caesar dressing is a rarity these days in my experience.

    To be fair,

"Smokers. Especially those who walk waving their lit cigs around. Disgusting."

I agree with that. I cannot walk around Midtown or Times Square or Penn Station areas (and I work near Penn Station), without my lungs/nostrils burning from the smoke. I only have to walk a block and a half to get to my work from the subway, and I can pass upwards of 30 people smoking in that short time (I've counted). I really would like to get through a day where my lungs don't feel like they've just escaped a burning building.

I disagree. I used to smoke and miss it, so these little encounters are like harmless flirting in the elevator, delicious and exhilarating.
