You HAVE to be the biggest total douchebag to have an Apple tattoo.

I think it's SCOTUS who decided that.

True but I believe Mittens and his Bain buddies in the seventies started that wave of corporations seeking the rights that humans have.

How can a completely sociopathic structure be considered human? I don't understand.

I think people have always felt the need to be attached to something, a group or community, to have a shared recognition in something. In the past we had neighborhoods or towns as well as religion (which the two were often interconnected), but that's been quickly going away. So what than, can we get into? Brands, pretty much.

"Oh, I'm an Apple fan, I love Apple. I only like to hang out with people who use Apple and look down on any one who doesn't"

"Oh, I'm a GNU/Linux fan, I love GNU/Linux, I only like to hang out with people who use GNU/Linux and look down on any one who doesn't"

          that sort of thing.

Not the first brand to get tattooed, but it's something I'll never understand.

I see a lot of Nike swooshes on basketball players too. Pretty ridiculous.

I always like to pretend that logo means the person wearing it is a Starfucker.

People already treat brands as such:

I do surveys, to make a little side money for the holidays and such- I've noticed that brands for EVERYTHING, from tampons to trucks, is wanting to know what the "special personal qualities" of their brands are, and whether I would be their "friend", if the brand were a person. Creepy, creepy sh*t....

Ha, ha! I love the bottom line where Yahoo! will show you how to hire great people. Ah, that's rich.

That book reminds me of the popsicle my parents would give us as kids.
