    Wait, he had to choose between the 2 and he chose to quit being a legit judge and hopes to be a tv judge?

    The bench is better off without him. They should review his rulings.

      In the full article, it mentions he only made $13k/year as a judge. He easily makes more as a comedian.

          She's actually a very well-respected juvenile judge in NYC. I know people write her off as a TV judge, but I admire her a lot. I mentioned her in another comment on this article, but here's a video from 1993 of her background:

                So, Judge G. Todd "the victim was older than her chronological age" Baugh gets to stay on the bench, but a moonlighting comedian is beyond the pale. Sounds right.
