    I remember the uproar that occurred when Amy Grant announced she was going to divorce her husband (whom I believe was very jealous and verbally abusive), and how the church basically drug her through the mud. It was horrible, and people said some really nasty ass shit about her. Vince didn't experience half of what she went through, but he defended the hell out of her - and the fact that he still has to is quite fucking sad if you ask me.

    While the two were married to other people during the time they recorded - and shot - one of my favorite songs, "House of Love," you could tell there was a spark there. Glad they ended up together - no snark. All real talk hurrr!

      I'd never judge anyone over that song. Sarah Palin could sing it, and I'd love her for it, except I know she'd mess up the words, and wink too much, and in the end perhaps cause Henson to raise from his grave to destroy her... but I wouldn't judge.

      I'm in the audio biz in Nashville and would be on Vince's crew in a heartbeat. This man plays more benefits and raises money for more good causes than ANY artist, including Bono. Also, he's likely the best guitarist in Nashville and heir to Chet Atkins' throne.

      More power to Vince for taking the time to come out of the venue to confront these dim-witted neanderthals. I'm amazed that they would even protest a Vince Gill gig, as he is a pretty god-fearing kind of guy. If brains were dynamite, these people wouldn't have enough to blow the scum off their teeth.

    I have never had an enemy in my life. But I always thought that if I did there were several things I would do to get back at them. One. Fill out one of those free Scientology personality tests in their name with a big "I am SO EXCITED and INTERESTED in Scientology!!!" with their real address and phone number. Two. Sic these monstrous buffoons on them.
