    He has an apartment and an office in Buckingham Palace. It is his cherished homestead, his place of work, and the location of his birth.

    Oh god, he lives with his mom in the same house that he was born in and does nothing useful or important all day?

    If one of us pulled this, we'd be fucking killed simply by power of social scorn and shunning. This guy does it and nobody bats an eyelid. This is what's wrong with society. Some poor unemployed and depressed nerd/ette gets isolated and mocked for living in their mom's basement, while this rich asshole gets invited to great parties and people bow and scrape before him when he does pretty much the same thing. What the hell is wrong with people?

      He was actually was a bit of bad assed naval officer (excluding the vanity titles, the man has a very good military reputation) and turned out be a very good trade rep for The UK Investment forum. He has a house of his own but hey- he's a Prince and is entitled to live at the Palace.

    Only tangentially related, but because Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah, Duchess of York has lived together off and on since their divorce (for the children), I pulled-up her Wikipedia to see if that's still the case.

    My goal was to make a joke about how the palace guards could be keeping away her daughter's suitors, but instead I discovered that Sarah is wanted in Turkey for violating the privacy of orphans, while filming them being mistreated for a documentary show.
