    I was a pretty great commenter with a large number of starred postings, and then you killed me and turned me grey! Why? Because I called you out on your hypocrisy when you required two clicks to see the murdered FL woman and yet put Trayvon on the front page?!

    Yes, that! And more, as I made fun (delightfully) of many of your writers. Also, Neetzan, how does that guy sleep at night when simply reposts front page items from reddit?! What a fucktard.

    Oh, and the redesign? C'mon, Denton pinching pennies on bandwidth costs again? It looks like shit! Shit! SHIT!

    Anyway, as much as it hurt me to go from black to grey, I realize now it was a HUGE favor. No longer am I slave to your readership's acknowledgements of my comedic stylings and tepid graphical talents. I'll still surf the site once in a while, but don't come crawling back to me when you realize I was a value added commenter that helped to make the comments fun again,

    And fuck you! But also thanks for being cowards, hypocrites and moody cunts. But also thank you for freeing me from the tyranny of having to be excellent all the time.

    Also, fuck you for abandoning me!

      Argh—it now removed the original post. I’m so pissed since the original one was WAY funnier than this. This redraft is short of redress.

      Now that Kilgore H. Trout is gone, can I now be Mr. Trout under a similar Yahoo-like screen name recycling program? I’ll be a pretend Braavosi like the Game of Thrones Jaqen H'ghar, but maybe funnier. And I’ll continue to post without disappearing too often. Or changing too many details.

      I'm typically pretty calm about these things, it's your site you can do what you want, you know?

      But this blows. Hard.

      The top stories column is a waste of space, the front page looks like the shitty website I made in freshman web design and I have to use my damn ruler/magnifying glass thingy to see who has written each article.

        Speaking of the separator- it's also really hard to see who wrote something because it's tiny light grey text above a chunk of a post next to some images and the left side bar.

        And the ads on the left side bar scroll as you scroll which means I'm getting ads overlapping each other.

      Bring back the easy linking to the other Gawker Media sites. Before Kinja, you guys had the footer that showed features articles on the other blogs- which was neat, since I'd end up reading Jezebel, i09, Gizmodo, etc articles when they caught my attention, that I'd have otherwise missed from not being a regular reader of those sites. I thought that was genius. Then you went to Kinja, and stuck with a little drop down menu to the other sites in the top left, which was okay. And now that's gone and you're mostly pretending the other sites don't exist?

      Otherwise, eh, it's something to get used to, but having the list of articles on the left isn't so bad. I wish older stories would auto load as I scrolled down, like they used to, instead of needing to press a button. It looks nice at least.

        The aim is to pay more attention to the other sites, as we use the reframing tool to share their content. Many of us missed the footer and the intra-Gawker Media traffic that went with it.

        This. This this this. Right now, it's REALLY hard to tell where one article ends and another begins. Even a larger/different color/more distinctive headline font would do the trick. Hell, a handful of more pixel space between the articles might even do it. Small tweak, really, but it would vastly increase readability.
